This funky extension/renovation is Stringer Building Services favourite job to date. The original 50’s brick house has been transformed into a modern and original art piece.

The lower level on the rear extension features a polished concrete floor with beech plywood ceilings. This area flows onto the rear pool area that also enjoys the use of the polished concrete as the pool surround. Also on this level is the laundry and kids bathroom which brings in colour and vibrancy.

The upstairs area comprises of a parents retreat, study nook and unique long style ensuite. The use of polycarbonate sheeting in the stairwell and bathrooms allows the light to flow in and show off the detailed timber work designed by the owners.

Timber was reclaimed from some of the demolition works and was used to build the internal screens above the wine racks and in the stairwell. The owners even went to the trouble of designing a custom table out of recycled timber to fit the new dining area. This was built on site and moulds perfectly within the space.
